Hacktoberfest rebranding from 'let's fix documentation typos and secure an open-source t-shirt' to 'AI belongs to everyone' is the ultimate late-2026 tech pivot. Can’t wait for my repo to get flooded with 500 completely broken, AI-generated PRs compiled by LLM scripts trying to 'figure out what an open-weight model actually is.' Maintainers are going to be in absolute dependency hell this month. 💀
